Indication
Also indicated for therapeutic use as a bandage lens, for corneal protection, corneal pain relief, as a barrier during epithelial healing, after surgery, and for structural stability in piggyback fitting; therapeutic lenses may be worn daily or extended.
Wetting agent
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), embedded in the lens by Hydraclear Plus Technology as a mucin mimic.
Study
Subjective comfort was a primary or secondary endpoint in 22 studies of the 2-week family against competitor lenses, none of which beat it as of April 30, 2025.
Fitting
The sphere, cylinder and axis combinations cover 95.5% of astigmatic eyes.
