The same lens body as AquaSoft Daily (1-800 Contacts), with one difference: HydraMist, a Tangible Science hydrophilic polymer (the Hydra-PEG family) bonded to the lens surface during sterilization and carried in the blister solution. The 8.5 base curve was added in March 2021 in response to VSP network doctor feedback; the original 2019 launch was 8.8 only.
Material
53% olifilcon B, 47% water, FDA Group 5C (non-ionic, silicone hydrogel, water under 50%). Dk 120 (Fatt method, 35 C) with a 0.08 mm center thickness at -3.00D, giving the Dk/t of 150 VSP advertised. Refractive index 1.410. Cast molded. Light blue visibility tint (Reactive Blue 19). Benzotriazole UV-absorbing monomer, transmitting under 50% UVA and under 5% UVB, the Class 2 thresholds.
The 510(k) covers base curves 8.0 to 9.2 mm and diameters 13.0 to 15.0 mm; VSP stocked 8.5 and 8.8 at 14.1.
