Optical design
A patented stepped power profile developed with the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI) steps from a +1.00D central add to a +1.50D peripheral add in a continuous, uninterrupted transition, creating dual defocus zones.
Optics
The central zone provides on-axis defocus across a wide range of pupil sizes while the peripheral zone creates peripheral defocus, through gradual transitions rather than the abrupt shifts of concentric ring multifocal designs.
Surface
A patented biomimetic surface material is designed to retain moisture and resist deposit buildup.
Fitting
Fits like a standard daily disposable, with no specialized training or equipment required.
Availability
Sphere powers run -0.50 D to -6.00 D in 0.25 D steps.
Packaging
30-pack and 90-pack options.
Regulatory
Not FDA-approved for slowing myopia progression. The optics are myopia-management optics, but US market entry was by 510(k) for correction of refractive error. Every US toufilcon B clearance on file is Pegavision's (K243868, 2025-07-02), and FDA lists no soft-lens 510(k) or PMA held by Euclid at all; its only PMA is P040029, orthokeratology. An FDA myopia-control indication requires a PMA, as MiSight 1 day has (P180035).
