Two discrete strengths rather than a continuous range, Low (+0.75D to +1.50D) and High (+1.75D to +2.50D).

8.5 for 43.75D and steeper and 8.8 for 43.50D and flatter, steepened to 8.5 when the lens moves or decenters excessively.

Equilibrate for 10 minutes, then expect 0.5-1.0mm movement in primary gaze and 1.0-1.5mm in upgaze, over-refracting in 0.25D steps to 20/25 monocularly and 20/20 binocularly.
