Optics
Spherical power on the anterior surface and a spherocylindrical curve on the posterior surface to carry the astigmatic power, over a bicurve posterior design.
Stabilization
Lo-Torque prism ballast, prism at the base of the lens with thickness increasing from apex to base, and a balanced vertical thickness profile holding mid-peripheral thickness uniform at the apex, center and base of the optic zone.
Edge
360 degree comfort chamfer, a wedge-shaped tapered section on the anterior surface from the 3 to 9 o'clock areas that reduces lens thickness, finished with rounded edges.
Geometry
Three guide marks in the lens perimeter, 30 degrees apart at 5, 6, and 7 o'clock, working as a protractor on the lens surface; the center mark need not sit at 6 o'clock.
Fitting
The center guide mark should locate at the inferior limbus, and once oriented rotational rocking should be limited to less than 5 degrees.
Visibility tint
Blue, from up to 100 ppm of Reactive Blue Dye 246.
Note
The apparent blue color may decrease slightly following repeated disinfection, without affecting the safety or performance of the lens.
