Corneal edema
1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 3 or 4 hours
Contraindications
- Do not use except under the advice and supervision of a doctor
- Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy

Mechanism of ActionHyperosmotic agent: raises tear film osmolarity above that of the corneal stroma, drawing fluid out of the edematous cornea and reducing corneal thickness. The effect is temporary and does not address the cause of the edema.
